Winter wonderland comes early to Galena

We've got snow and more snow and more snow!! The last winter storm to hit Galena Lodge brought an early Christmas present of 18 inches of new light snow. After shoveling, plowing, blowing, grooming and packing trails we are just about ready for the holiday weekend. The turkeys have arrived, the pies are being made, the bread is in the oven and the hot buttered rum is ready. So grab your snowshoes or skis and head up to Galena Lodge this weekend for a great snowy adventure! We are open every day from 9-5 serving lunch 11:30-3:30.

More and more snow!

Well the forecast is calling for more and more snow. Possibly 7-11 inches tonight. That would be fantastic. We have received about 7 inches in the last few days and the trails are really skiing well. Come on up and enjoy a great ski or snowshoe at Galena. Then fill your stomach with some homemade food from the restaurant. Don't forget to take home a few Don Bars for your next outing. We are open everyday and look forward to seeing you up here.

We still have a few reservations left for Thanksgiving Dinner so call now and make your reservation! Dinner is at 6:30pm and is $45 for adults and $22.50 for kids 12 and under.

Winter Storm Warning!

Doesn't that sound just about perfect! With up to 20 inches of snow in the forecast it looks like opening weekend at Galena is going to be perfect. Yes, this Saturday is the day. We can't wait for winter to get here! Come on up and see us and enjoy some great skiing!

Falling into Winter

Galena Lodge is opening for the winter season on Saturday November 20th. With the help of some early season snow the BCRD has been able to groom the Harriman trail and that has made a slew of happy Nordic skiers. When do we ever get to ski in October?

Full Moon Dinners November 20 & 21. We are even discounting these dinners to help you save a little $$ for holiday shopping, season passes or whatever else. This three course dinner will be $30 (not including alcohol, tax or gratuity). Reservations are requested.

Thanksgiving Dinner is Thursday November 25th at 6:30pm. If you haven't been to Thanksgiving dinner at Galena now is your chance. We have limited seating remaining for this incredible family style dinner featuring free range turkey, honey glazed ham, local potatoes and veggies, stuffing, fresh cranberries, homemade breads, and pies!!
