Spanish Wine Dinner this Saturday!

Join us this coming Saturday Night for our Spanish Wine Dinner! The menu will feature mushroom and roasted pepper flat bread, white bean and fennel crostinis, shrimp ceviche, Basque style fish stew, Sofrito braised lamb shoulder and chocolate pot au creme. The wines for this dinner have been hand selected by Steve Thies from Tastevin Wine Ltd. to pair perfectly with the evenings menu. Winter is Back!

Over 24 inches of new snow fell this weekend and winter is back! The Nordic trails and snowshoe trails are fantastic and so is the sledding!

Make sure to sign up for one of our lesson packages and get the most out of your skiing experience. Whether you are a seasoned skier or a novice, a lesson with one of our instructors is a great way to improve your skiing!

Need a great way to impress your guests? How about a snowshoe tour at Galena Lodge. A custom 2 hour tour on the trails around the lodge will give your guests an amazing experience they will treasure for years to come. Well it looks like Mother Nature is finally going to let us in on the snow. After 6 weeks of mostly dry and sunny days we are hoping for 6-10 inches by Thursday!

Join us this week for our Full Moon Dinners on February 17, 18 & 19th. Dinners are at 6:30pm each night and reservations are required. Cost for the dinners is $40 per person not including alcohol, tax or gratuity. The four course Full Moon dinner menu will feature rock shrimp salad, cauliflower bisque, Idaho Sturgeon or pork loin and apple crisp with vanilla ice cream.

Ladies, this weekend Galena Lodge Ski Instructor Abbie Harris will be hosting a Women's Only Skate Ski Clinic on Saturday, February 19th. Designed for all levels of skier, this clinic is a great way to improve your skills and technique in a supportive environment. The clinic is from 10:30am to 2:30pm and includes lunch. Boulder Mania!!!!!

Well it is finally time for the annual Boulder Mountain Tour. This year's tour is one not to miss. With over 1000 participants and a strong elite wave competing for thousands of $$$ it is going to be an incredible race. The snow is amazingly fast right now and looks like it is going to stay that way for the race. Who knows, maybe there will event be some records broken this year. If you don't want to watch the race then head on up to Galena Lodge after 11am and enjoy the peace and solitude of the trails in the North Valley. With everyone racing or watching the Boulder Mountain Tour you are sure to have the trails up at Galena all to yourself. The lodge will be closed to parking until 10:30am.
