Private Ski Lessons
​These lessons are for first time skiers, experienced skiers, and everyone in between. Personalized one-on-one instruction, especially on a consistent basis, is the best way to learn this sport. Our fantastic instructors are happy to help you improve your technique (in skate or classic skiing) whether it is your first time on snow or you have been skiing for decades and want to become a little more efficient. Please book a one hour lesson below. Cost is $80 for the first person and $35 dollars for each additional person.

When you sign up for a lesson you will receive a 20% off of rentals in the rental shop. 

INTRO PACKAGE DEAL - if this is your first time EVER taking a nordic ski lesson, you will receive a free ski pass for the remainder of the day courtesy of the BCRD. Combined with the 20% discount on rental gear, this is a great way to test out the sport. 
Snowshoe Tour
If you’d like the extra assurance of a guide on your snowshoe adventure or if you just want the extra company, then schedule a snowshoe tour! Snowshoe tours are two hours long and include your rental equipment and trail pass. They cost $70 per person with a 3 person minimum, 8 person maximum.  Book below!

GROUP SKI CLINICS (VAMPS AND DONS)
Weekly skate and classic clinics in December, January and February. These are a great way to improve your technique, get a workout, and make friends. ​​

Snowshoe with a ranger
Unfortunately cancelled for the remainder for the 24/25 winter due to SNRA staffing shortages

Strap on some snowshoes and check out the Sawtooth National Recreation Area's winter wonderland! Learn about the history of the Galena Lodge area and the magical landscape of winter ecology and animal tracking. Snowshoe with a Ranger every Thursday at 11 am. Meet on the porch of Galena Lodge. Program lasts about 2 hours and covers 1.5 miles with stops along the way. Rent snowshoes online or in the ski shop at Galena Lodge (see below). 

​Dress warmly in layers and wear insulated boots, gloves, hat, and sunglasses.

Rentals and Passes

Please come into the rental shop to get set up with rentals. We have LOTS of skate packages, classic packages, and snowshoes for both kids and adults. If you have a very large group or really want to reserve ahead of time you can call the shop the day before. You will need shoe size, height and weight for each person in your party.
